In order to discover more potential and outstanding ideas, we are now recruiting movie scripts in order to attain different kind of ideas through this exercise, provide audiences with more choices and fill out the film industry with a variety of blossom.

Please submit a story idea, synopsis, scene breakdown or script. There is no limitation on topic, thesis can be comedy, drama, action, romance, suspense. There is no limit on the number of submissions.

The participant shall warrant that all works or submissions rendered by him/her are original and he/she is the sole owner of all literary creations and other materials including without limitation of all ideas, treatments and scripts and the same have not been copied wholly or substantially from any other works or materials, and does not infringe upon or violate the rights of privacy or any other rights of any kind or nature whatsoever of any person or entity, or ever been released by any kind of media of any format. The participant shall indemnify and hold harmless Focus Films Limited from and against any and all liabilities, claims, costs, damages and expenses arising out of or in connection with any breach of the above.

Once the participant submits any story idea, synopsis, scene breakdown or script to Focus Films Limited according to the ¡°Submission Method¡± stated below and so long if consideration is given by Focus Films Limited, the participant is obliged to assign and transfer to Focus Films Limited any and all rights of every kind in connection with the above works. The participant also agrees that Focus Films Limited shall have the sole discretion and non-restrictive rights to exploit and develop the above works by any media and in any territories. However, Focus Films Limited would not guarantee shooting of movie.

All participants must specify clearly your personal contact. All synopses, scene breakdowns or scripts have to be in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or English.
All works or scripts collected are only for the internal screening purpose. Participants should keep a copy of their submitted works or scripts. All submissions by mail will not be returned to participants. Focus Films Limited will notify participants upon receipt of their works or scripts through e-mail or fax. Focus Films Limited shall have the sole rights and final decision of the selection. Participants of selected works or scripts will be informed personally.
If no writing notification has been received from Focus Films Limited within a month of submission, the participants shall consider their works or scripts not being selected. There will be no further notification.
